TrackTown Fitness

TrackTown Fitness is a free community fitness program based on concepts first taught by University of Oregon track and field coach Bill Bowerman more than 50 years ago.

Bill Bowerman said that if you have a body, you’re an athlete. We take that concept seriously; TrackTown Fitness is welcoming and supportive of all ages and abilities and we can promise a fun, social, supportive environment for all. Whether you’re an experienced runner planning for a personal best, or TrackTown Fitness is the beginning of your journey to a healthier lifestyle, your goals will be respected equally.

COVID-19 Impacts on TrackTown Fitness

Given the recent guidelines put forth by both the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Governor Kate Brown limiting the size of events and public gatherings, please note the following important updates to our community program schedule as a result of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

The duration of the 2021 TrackTown Fitness season is permanently suspended. We still encourage you to pursue your fitness goals independently, while following the guidance of public health professionals and respecting social distancing protocols. Thank you deeply for your support of these community programs and for your understanding of these changes. TrackTown USA is committed to the safety and health of all of our constituent groups, and we will abide by the procedures and best practices established by local, state, and federal authorities.

Rewards

TrackTown Fitness aims to reward participants for their attendance on Sunday mornings. It is our way of saying thank you! When you arrive at your first session, you will be given a TrackTown Fitness key card. Each week, you will scan in using that key card so we are able to track attendance. Once you have achieved an attendance milestone, you will get a reward.
